More calls for Michael Soriano to force the disgraced former Captain to reimburse Parsippany Taxpayers for expended legal fees
A Morris County Superior Court jury this week shot down James Carifi’s bullying tactics in forcing township taxpayers into paying him $4.3 million dollars. The jury saw right through the tarnished Captain’s plot and gave him NOTHING.
However in a classic case of greed to the highest degree, James Carifi plows ahead with his misguided, self-serving interests. James will file an appeal to further torment township taxpayers and artificially drive up legal fees.
If Michael Soriano is honest about his campaign pledge to hold the line on legal spending, Mr. Soriano should publicly reject James Carifi. Furthermore, he should demand Carifi reimburse the township for expended legal fees related to the bogus Carifi case which had held our township hostage for six years.
I don’t anticipate Michael Soriano to stand up to Carifi because he is heavily reliant on Carifi support — both from James and Paul.
The night of the jury verdict, several sources around our township reported Soriano sign people dropping Paul Carifi’s name in their attempt to erect their signs on Republican residents’ private property — with some residential properties already baring Mayor Barberio signs.
Additionally, James Carifi has been a permanent fixture — similar to the light fixtures — working feverishly at Soriano’s headquarters this election season. So it is obvious Soriano could care less that his disgraced cohort and former police official is only using him to pursue an unending obsession to shake down Parsippany taxpayers for $4.3 million after the former police official STOLE from the township.
Unfortunately, residents will hear nothing but falsehood and innuendo from Mr. Soriano who is manipulated, propped up and sponsored by James and Paul Carifi.
Parsippany should be very concerned about Michael Soriano and the company he keeps.
