PHHS Vikings Competition Cheer takes 1st Place

February 12, 2017

Hackensac, NJ

The Parsippany Hills High School Vikings Competition Cheer takes 1st Place in the small varsity division at the 18th Annual Just Cheer Competition at Hackensack High School out scoring their opponents by 14 points.

The team has been putting in practice time since the summer. They choreograph their own routine using elite stunts, intricate transitions, and a cheer full of crowd involvement.

The team is working with the Little Vikings program to host a competition next Saturday, the 18th, as a fundraiser at PHHS. The Par Hills Cheer team is trying to raise over $6500 to attend Nationals in Myrtle Beach next month. You can see all the Viking cheer teams perform on Saturday at about 12:00pm.

Coaches Nicole Berkman and Amanda Corigliano are incredibly proud of the girls and appreciate the support from family, friends, and the community.
