Meg Leitner and Luisa Barone of the PHS Redhawks Girls Softball team reached a milestone on the same day. They both recorded their 100 varsity hit.
The duo have been playing softball together since U-8. In a statement from Mayor Barberio; “I have had the opportunity to see both of them play softball from Par-Troy East winning the States and high school winning Section 2 North Jersey for PHS. As Mayor of Parsippany it’s gratifying to see our kids achieve their goals. Meg and Luisa, Parsippany is proud of both of you.”⚾️⚾️⚾️
