PJ Gohn is Morris County Wrestling Champion

On Saturday, January 28th at Mount Olive High School PJ Gohn captured the 132lb Wrestling Morris County Championship with an impressive victory by defeating Hanover Parks Lou Raimo with 28 seconds left in sudden overtime.

After sustaining two ACL tears to his knees he was determined to be a Champion. The road to recovery can often be hard. It has setbacks and can bring the spirits of an injured athlete down. PJ Gohn did not let the injuries get in his way! His determination and hard work paid off.

PJ was also named Most Outstanding Wrestler in the Morris County Tournament.

In a statement by his father Phil Gohn, “Pj has worked very hard to achieve his goals and make Parsippany proud. He had to overcome an injury. If you want something bad enough there’s nothing that can stop you. We are so proud of him.”

In a statement by his sister Skylar, “I am beyond proud of of you. You truly deserve it, you work hard year round and never break or have time for yourself. You are a true champion.”

PJ, we at Plug Into Parsippany along with Mayor James Barberio congratulate you on being Morris County Champion and Most Outstanding Wrestler in the tournament

Parsippany is Proud of you!
