PHS Principal Dr. Denis Mulroony Honored

Parsippany, NJ – On Wednesday March 29, 2017, the Morris County Council of Education Association held its 2017 Friends of Education Celebration. Parsippany High School Principal Dr. Denis Mulroony was selected by the Morris County Council of Education as its 2017 administrative recipient of Friends of Education Award.

Dr. Mulroony, was a graduate of Parsippany High School in 1992. He began his career as an English teacher in the Bridgewater Middle School followed by employment in Parsippany in 2001 as an English teacher, he then became assistant principal of Parsippany High School in 2006, moved to Lake Parsippany Elementary School as principal and since 2013 has been principal of Parsippany High School.

Parsippany – Troy Hills Mayor James Barberio was in attendance. In a statement from Mayor Barberio; “I can tell you first hand that Parsippany High School Principal Dr. Denis Mulroony is an outstanding Principal and he exemplifies what Pride in Parsippany is all about. He has a positive and lasting impact on students lives. He also recognizes the importance of his teacher creating a positive and spirited climate.”

The Morris County Council of Education Associations, Inc. (MCCEA) is a group of elected and appointed NJEA and NJREA members that work in Morris County, NJ. Our goal is to provide communication between NJEA and it’s local organizations, keep the membership informed and provide development of teachers, opportunities and the NJEA, ultimately benefiting the children of Morris County.
